Private-School Junior Golf Tournament Series
Grades K–8
The Ximu Invitational Series is a school-aligned junior golf tournament series created and operated by Ximu. Hosted in partnership with Chamlian Armenian School, the Series gives students the opportunity to represent their school through golf in a structured, organized, and developmentally appropriate tournament environment.
The inaugural season will feature three local tournament events for students in grades K–8, with divisions designed for both newer players and more experienced junior golfers.
Season Format
The inaugural season will include three tournament events held at local golf courses in the Glendale, Pasadena, La Cañada, and San Gabriel Valley area.
Target venues include Brookside Golf Course, La Cañada Country Club, and Chevy Chase Country Club, with the championship event ideally hosted at Chevy Chase Country Club.
Events are intended to take place on weekends to make participation easier for students and families.
Divisions
Development Division
Designed primarily for K–4 students and newer players. This division uses a team-based scramble format to introduce younger players to tournament golf in a fun, supportive, and confidence-building environment.
Championship Division
Designed primarily for 5th–8th grade students and more experienced players. This division provides a more competitive school-based tournament experience with team scoring and formal recognition.
Player Placement
Division placement is based on readiness, not age alone. Younger players may compete in the Championship Division if they have the skill, maturity, and course experience to keep pace with that level of play.
Golf development is not always linear, and the Series allows qualified younger players to move up when appropriate.
School Participation
Schools may field players in either division depending on student interest and ability level.
Ximu handles tournament structure, course coordination, registration, communication, event-day operations, scoring, staffing, and overall execution.
Uniform Requirements
All players are required to wear proper golf attire, including a school team polo, school logo hat, and golf shorts or pants. Uniform designs and logo placement must be approved by Ximu Invitational Series prior to tournament play.
Host School Partner
The inaugural season is hosted in partnership with Chamlian Armenian School.
Chamlian serves as the host school partner, helping provide school credibility, student connection, and community support for the launch of the Series.
